The Hydroponics Hub introduces hydroponics-a sustainable, water-efficient method of growing plants without soil-as a foundation for a new local industry.  The Hydroponics Hub is a self-contained unit that will enable cultivation of myraid types of produce.  Partnering with the Dr. Folkins Community School in a work experience program, the farm will offer an opportunity for students to train in advance farming techniques and small-scale agri-business development through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on learning.  Students will gain real-world experience by managing hydroponic systems, growing fresh food for the community, and learning the basics of sustainable agriculture.

Thanks to strong early support from some of our great community sponsors, we have already secured pledges to fund the purchasing of the hydroponics unit itself.  To facilitate initial set-up and continued operational costs (such as buying sees and nutrients), we are asking for your support.
